Hey, it's Abby and Max! We're the duo behind Whaleback Nursery and driven by our love for the woods. Starting this nursery in 2021 allowed us to turn this passion into a meaningful endeavor.

 Our experience spans organic farms, helping our friends with reforestation initiatives, and working in urban forestry. We also are both passionate about food and love using native species and regenerative practices to grow both perennial and annual crops.  

When we’re not in the soil or cooking, find us, climbing mountains and cozying by the wood stove with our two dogs and two cats.
