Anise Hyssop - Seeds & Bare Root Plant

Agastache foeniculum

This near native wildflower is extremely easy to grow, has gorgeous indigo flowers, and fragrant leaves that smell and taste like licorice, hence the name anise. It is part of the mint family and as such has opposite leaves and a square stem. Starting in mid-July the flowers bloom and remain so for well over a month. All sorts of pollinators love the flower, particularly bumblebees. Grow it for them or for your own perennial source of anise flavor.
