1st Year Seedling ~8” - Bare Root Tree

(Quercus rubra)

There is nothing more majestic than a large old oak. Plant one of these baby trees now and future generations of humans, animals, and plants will all thank you. The acorn’s large size makes them a favorite of wildlife, but they are just as appealing to humans. To eat the acorns, soak them in water and change the water once it changes color. This will remove the bitter tannins. Next, grind or roast the nuts for use in all sorts of dishes.
