Comfrey - Root Fragments

from $10.00

Symphytum Uplandicum

Comfrey is a super useful and versatile plant with beautiful fuzzy leaves that provide foliage all season long. Pollinators love its purple flowers and gardeners rave about the benefits of comfrey tea for fertilizer. Some also say that it can be turned into a salve to help with minor aches, bruises, scrapes, and muscle soreness. So many uses for such a wonderful plant.

Comfrey gets a bad rap because it can spread like wildfire when disturbed, but if you find a permanent spot for it, and leave it alone, it will continue to service you and your garden year after year. So avoid planting in areas where there will be a lot of soil disturbance.

Hardiness: Zone 4-8

Soil: Moist, well drained, acidic, really anywhere

Light: Full Sun

Options:

10 or 20 pre-cut root fragments that will all take off easily in your garden. Establish a small or large patch!
