This blend uses many of the wildflowers that spring has to offer! Boost your immunity with all of the abundance that naturally occurs around us this time of year. This blend contains dried dandelion flowers, native purple & blue violets, tender young yarrow leaves, creeping charlie, and dried stinging nettle.

This earthy tasting blend would pair perfectly with a pinch of sugar and a squeeze of lemon. Or better yet, a pinch of dried sumac! We hope to harvest and collect more sumac in 2023 for use in this tea next year. This tea is most potent when steeped in boiling water for at least 10 minutes.

Dandelion: While the roots and leaves are known edibles, the beautiful flowers of dandelions often get overlooked for eating. However, they carry many, maybe more, of the same nutrients than the other parts of the plant. They are very high in polyphenols and antioxidants helping fight inflammation and giving your body what it needs. Some also say that the compounds found in dandelions can help with anxiety, depression, and headaches.

Blue & White Violet: These delicate little flowers have a great light floral taste, but some also say it helps them fall asleep!

Young Yarrow: Yarrow has been known as a medicinal for generations and has a wide variety of uses. We encourage you to look them up if interested. Otherwise, the flavor of yarrow is a bit bitter with notes of rosemary or anise.

Creeping Charlie (Ground Ivy): With a distinct basil/mint taste, this “weed” also has many medicinal benefits. Namely, it can help soothe a cough and congestion.

Stinging Nettle: A powerhouse in the garden. Stinging nettle is rich in protein, iron, vitamin A, C, D, and many more essential minerals. It has a good defense system for a reason, but we think everybody should be eating it.
