Swamp Milkweed - Bare Root Plant

As its name implies, this milkweed plant is found in swamps, marshes, wet meadows, and other areas with moist, clay-rich soils. It looks similar to common milkweed, but with narrower leaves, hairier stems, and brighter, more upright flowers. The flowers smell great and the plant is host to many butterflies including the famous monarch.

Bare Root Plants can be planted into loose soil in the Fall or Spring and kept moist until new growth emerges.

Hardiness: Zone 3-9

Soil: Wet soils but adaptable to loamy soils
