Wild Senna- Bare Root Plant

Wild Senna is a beautiful near-native perennial that is herbaceous (dies back to its roots in the winter), but will put on an impressive amount of growth each season once established. Mature plants produce a bright yellow, leguminous flower in mid-summer that attracts bumblebees, sweat bees, and more. In the fall, dark brown seedpods form and release the shiny seeds. Like other Fabaceae plants, it is nitrogen-fixing and will improve surrounding soil conditions.
Hardiness: Zone 3-9
Soil: Wet soggy soils to well drained loam
Light: Full Sun to partial shade
